Pricing summary
Anthropic's docs say use of the SDK is governed by its Commercial Terms, except where a component's own license says otherwise. The Python package's GitHub license is MIT. There is no separate SDK subscription on claude.com/pricing. Model use is billed at Claude API rates. On that page, Opus 5.5 is $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens, and Sonnet 5.5 is $2 and $10. Managed Agents, a different hosted product, is $0.08 per active session-hour plus standard token rates.
