The submit form asks for one of those three. A zero means no published listing currently carries that answer. "Not recorded" means the listing was not filed through that form.

FAQ
Why is almost every origin marked not recorded?
The desk listings do not have an indie, startup, or YC field. Only the public submit form asks for it. Filling that in from a company's reputation would be a guess, so it is not done.
Do the pricing rows add up to the number of tools?
A listing can have more than one pricing label, so the pricing counts can add up to more than the number of listings. The category rows do add up, because each listing has one category.
What counts as an addition?
A community submission, dated from the timestamp stored with the form. Desk listings are included in the category, pricing, and last-checked counts, and they are not given an invented add date.
Will this page change by itself?
The next build reads the directory and submission files again. Adding a listing or approving a submission changes the counts on the next deploy. The page does not poll a live database.
